On 13 November 2025, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) will host its flagship event “From Knowledge to Impact: Shaping Europe’s Next Innovation Wave” in Brussels and online.
The event will gather policymakers, researchers, innovators, and stakeholders from across Europe to discuss how knowledge valorisation can drive Europe’s next wave of innovation. The programme will explore how research results can be better translated into practical applications that bring real benefits to society, the economy, and the environment.
The event builds on the recent advances to drive knowledge valorisation, supported by this year’s key research and innovation strategies and new proposals for Horizon Europe and the Competitiveness Fund.
The sessions will highlight main initiatives and practical considerations under the Startup and Scaleup Strategy, the Research and Technology Infrastructures Strategy, and ERA Policy Agenda 2025-2027.
