EU Knowledge Valorisation Talks
Measuring the performance of knowledge valorisation is essential to make the value of research more visible, improve practices, and understand how investments translate into real benefits. While classic indicators for technology transfer (e.g. patents) are well established, knowledge valorisation widens the scope to a broader range of intellectual assets—including data, know-how, prototypes and business models—and increasingly calls for indicators that also reflect societal and environmental outcomes, as well as uptake in policy.
This session will highlight emerging approaches to measuring value creation and help participants reflect on how research organisations can assess the impact of their research and valorisation efforts.
