Towards FP10: Connecting Academia and Industry for Knowledge Valorisation
The EU’s Guiding Principles for Knowledge Valorisation are designed to ensure that research and innovation (R&I) outcomes translate into tangible societal and economic benefits. These principles are especially relevant for universities and research institutions aiming to make their results more impactful, visible, and usable.
On 9 September 2025, the UnILiON Open Talk will focus on one of the key tools emerging from these principles—the Code of Practice for Industry-Academia Co-Creation. The session forms part of the ongoing European-level discussion on how to support effective partnerships that drive innovation uptake.
As the development of Framework Programme 10 (FP10) gains momentum, this event offers timely insights into how the Code of Practice can help universities and industry actors create enabling environments for co-creation, strengthen collaboration models, and bridge the gap between knowledge and its application.
At INSPIRING ERA, we highlight practical, policy-relevant tools that support the research and innovation community in making sense of ERA priorities. The Code of Practice for Co-Creation is one such resource—offering clear guidance to help bridge the gap between research results and real-world application.
