In 2026, decisive choices at the European level will shape the future of European R&I policy. This high-level event, organised jointly by TU9 and TU Austria, brings together university leaders, policymakers, and innovation stakeholders to discuss how technical universities can help strengthen Europe’s competitiveness and societal impact. The workshop focuses on the next EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (FP10) and the European Competitiveness Fund (ECF), exploring opportunities, challenges, and strategic priorities with special attention to the needs of technology-oriented universities.
