About the Event

The ERA Policy Agenda 2025–2027 emphasizes the importance of establishing monitoring and evaluation frameworks as a cornerstone for advancing gender equality and inclusiveness in research and innovation (R&I), including monitoring of Gender Equality Plans (GEPs), the integration of the gender dimension in R&I content, the development of intersectionality indicators, and gender equality expenditure tracking. Such frameworks will make it possible to identify areas for improvement, track progress, and inform evidence-based policymaking. This exchange will bring together experts, policymakers, and practitioners from across Europe to share experiences in designing and maintaining equality monitoring systems at both national and EU levels.

By fostering mutual learning, the event aims to inspire the development of effective equality monitoring efforts across the ERA and beyond.
