The ERA SYMPOSIUM 2024 welcomes a broad range of actors from the Austrian science, research and innovation community, high-level European Commission representatives as well as interested guests from other ERA countries.
The annual ERA symposia are part of the implementation of the Austrian National Action Plan for the ERA (2022-2025) which is based on the EU’s ERA Policy Agenda (2022-2024).
This year’s ERA SYMPOSIUM provides the opportunity for stakeholders from academia, business and civil society to engage with two topical areas reflected in the new ERA Policy Agenda: Research Management (which is already part of the current policy agenda) and Science for Policy. The event offers a forum for discussion of strengths and challenges in these areas from the perspective of academia, industry and civil society, and encourages suggestions for the next ERA policy agenda and the revised Austria ERA Action plan.
